Finally got around to trying the Steakhouse Blue burger at @BurgerFi. It was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. All the advertised flavors and toppings were very noticeable. From the Danish blue cheese to the cracked pepper bacon, cabernet onion marmalade, and steak sauce, all the flavors worked in unison to bring this burger to another level. I don’t know how many times I’ve read “pepper bacon” on the menu to have it that taste just like regular bacon. That was definitely not the case here. The bacon was clearly peppered perfectly to produce a palatable pepper piquancy that gave it a nice punch. Peter Piper would be proud.
