Popeye’s sure is doing something right. And I’m not talking about the sailor man. This fried chicken sandwich has trumped all fast-food chicken sandwiches in my book. You can’t beat the price/quality ratio. It’s crunchy, flavorful, and hits all the right notes you’d expect from a great fried chicken sandwich. Chik-Fil-A is a close second (their lack of crunch made them lose 1st place), followed by KFC. The new location on the corner of SW 8 St and 68 Ave is open already, in case you didn’t know about it; where the BK used to be. Note: I don’t consider Shake Shake to be fast food so they’re not in contention.
